I started from ganpatipule and went to Kolhapur after mahalaxmi Darshan we started our journey to pune but my daughter (4yr old) got cranky and it was 7pm so last moment we decided to stay at karad. Quick phone call to hotel sangam and they set everything for us on such short notice. This hotel is bang on the highway.
Location is good. Right at the start of Highway to Satara. Plus points - shops and ATM is right outside the hotel. Swimming pool is great. Its owned by the health club right behind the hotel but hotels guests are allowed to use it for free.
Excellent place to stop for a lunch or dinner while you are passing by Karad. Butter Chicken is a must try !! They also have a separate section for Gujrati thali. Service is good, dishes are tasty. The hotel has good parking space, two separate restaurants, Pure Veg & Non Veg, Veg thali offered in pure veg is good. Overall I will definitely recommend this place for stay.
